Meet Kristal and Jess!
Kristal has managed dog day cares and private play groups for many years. She brings a strong management background and a focus on safety to Dog Vibes.
Jess has been a dog trainer and veterinary technician for the last 20+ years. She brings a focus on training to enhance the bond between dog and owner, as well as effectively handle their dogs.
Kristal and Jess met in 2009 at a local mom's group. Discovering that they lived around the corner from one another, have kids in the same age range, and share many common interests, led to many conversations, which developed into friendship. From there, the concept of Dog Vibes was brought to life!
On January 31, 2026 all of the conversations became reality when the lease for Dog Vibes at 70 Depot St was signed!
Our Mission
At Dog Vibes, we are committed to enhancing the bond between dogs and their owners through effective training methods. Our goal is to cultivate a positive, engaging environment where dogs can learn and thrive. Our experienced trainers utilize positive reinforcement techniques that focus on building confidence and good behavior in dogs of all breeds and ages. Join us in creating joyful and well-mannered companions.

As a mom to junior handlers we have found that some places are not equipped to work with younger kids in a training atmosphere. We met Jess a few years back and she was instantly a perfect fit to work with my kids. She brings such positive feedback, shows examples on how to fix something that needs work or can improve but she also truly enjoys what she does. She has helped my juniors with their dogs excel in Rally and has brought encouragement to them from day one. I can not recommend Jess more for a successful class/training, a positive atmosphere for both your dog and the handler, and honestly someone who cares about you as a person, not just as an income! She’s got that special “what it takes to succeed” magic!
